Critter Crazy DT #94

It's the first of the month so that means a new challenge at Critter Crazy Challenge so here is my second DT card of the day.

I created a 6x5 card blank from black card, then fussy cut all the images from Stampin Up Zoo Crew papers and used them to create a scene then used a fineliner pen to draw some squiggles to ground them.
The sentiment and music score are from the  Stampin up enjoy the Rhythm stamp set.
The squiggly paper is also Zoo Crew.

SSW2 Sketch 294

I have 2 DT cards to share today and my first one is for sketch 294 at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.

The base card is a 5 and 3/4 inch square card from dark blue card and I mounted some Stampin Up Bright and Beautiful paper on it.
I used distress oxides through the Reach for the Stars stencil from Honey Doo Crafts, I'm not sure of the colours as I didn't re-ink my brushes.
The Sentiment is from Julie Hickey Designs - Hazels Sentiment Medley Die Set
Twine is the last of a roll from American Crafts and the circle embellishments are Julie Hickey Designs glossies and this is the sketch number 294 from Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.

I am entering this card at the Shopping Our Stash Challenge number 538 where the theme is Superstars and we should use stars on our cards.

SSW2 Sketch 292

Here is my second card for Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 this month

I created a DL card from Limetree Crafts black card and used images from Lili of the Valley Perfect Patisserie which I have coloured with my Polychromos Pencils, fussy cut out and mounted onto Memory Box die cut squares.
The sentiment is from Stampin Up Charming sentimets and I used the matching die to cut it out, the paper is also by Stampin Up.
The dotty ribbon is from my stash I think it may be from Woodware.

Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 December 2024 cards

It's been a busy month as in addition to a busy run up to Christmas at work and at home I celebrated a big birthday so I am just sneaking in at almost the end of the month with my remaining DT cards for Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.

Here is sketch 291
This used American Crafts Cardstock and some Fancy Pants papers.
The image and sentiment are from an old Crafters Inspiration magazine and coloured with alcohol markers. The die cut bow is from Stampin Up Pierced Blooms dies and the sparly cirles are from my stash. The circles are Julie Hickey Designs and the card base is 148 x 148 Premium by Craft UK

I will enter this card in The Anything Goes category at Allsorts this fortnight as although I have used a couple of dies I think its a bit cheeky to enter this card in a use dies challenge.
I am also going to enter the Anything Goes option at We Love Stamping Challenge

Thank you

Happy Christmas

Happy Christmas to all my followers, friends and visitors to the blog.

This card uses the bonus sketch at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 this month. I used elements from a Papercraft Society box designed by Daisy Mae (Clare Rowlands) to make it.

Critter Crazy #93 December 2024

I am here to share my DT card for this months challenge at Critter Crazy Challenge Blog.
In October I went to a day retreat run by Julie from The Paper Haven where we were using the Reindeer Days suite from Stampin Up

I had an idea to make a diorama card with the lovely dies and deer fussy cut from the papers and then just used a sentiment stamp to finish.

I am entering this card at Allsorts Challenge Blog where the theme is Winter Flowers and Fauna - I think that pine trees and the deer should fit that brief.

Thank you for visiting

Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 Cards

I am a little late posting my cards for Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 this month (here's hoping that I will be better in 2025) so I will post both cards together.

Here is the card I made with sketch 289

My image was free with issue 139 of Creative Stamping, it's part of a fun set with lots of cute animals including some pigs in blankets and I will definitely be using the set for more cards. The sentiment is from the same set.
The papers are LOTV Scandi Christmas and the ribbon came from our local branch of Boyes (it's a shop that sells a bit of everything) and the snowflakes were cut from dies from a Papercraft Sociey box.
I used a mixture of Polkadoodles and Spellbinders dies for the ovals

Now for my sketch using Sketch 290

The card base for this card came from Craftwork Cards, the image is from the Whichcraft? set HoHoHo and I have coloured it with Copics. The papers were free with a magazine and the ribbon and gems are from stash.

I will be entering the card with the penguin at Allsorts Challenge where Liz has chosen the theme of Ribbon and Twine because I am so late in the month I will enter at the Rudolph Days Challenge too.
