SSW2 July Challenge

We have a couple more sketches over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 this month and here are my cards.

We are sponsored by Fred She Said and I decided to take the easy option and chose to work with pre-coloured images.

My first card uses Smelling the Cherry Blossom which comes in an array of lovely colours. I chose the red as I knew that I wanted to use it with some Kimono papers which I printed from a Craftwork Cards USB.

and this is the sketch that I followed

This card uses Dancing Penguin, I used some Christmassy papers from another Craftwork Cards USB but forgot to make a note of the collection I used. I really enjoyed making this and will probably make a few more the same or similar.

Here's the really straightforward sketch from Kathie

I am going to enter the following challenges

Fresh Florals

Here's a card I made a little while ago for a colleague to give to his wife.
I've used Julie Hickey Designs Fresh Florals Heart Stamp, Fresh Florals Stamp set, Fresh Florals Die Set.
Papers are from a Craftwork Cards USB
Pearls are Hobby House.
I computer generated the sentiment myself

I will be taking this card over to Allsorts where the theme is Summer Sunshine - and we had some when I took this photo.

Summer Sunshine

Here's a card I made at the weekend using an old Woodware Stamp, and one of my favourites, Daisy Panel, the sentiment is from another Woodware stamp Mini Flowers.
I have paper pieced it with some dottie papers from Anna Marie designs and the background was done with Copics, I was trying to do something with a re-inker which didn't work but think that I managed to rescue it

I am entering this card over at Allsorts where the theme is Summer Sunshine and they want to see lots of yellow.

Spring Jug

Here's a card I made using a new Julie Hickey Designs stamp Spring Jug.
I coloured it quite simply with Distress Inks and added one of her Circle Sentiments.
Julie is doing Facebook Workshops at the moment which I have been enjoying, I love that you can dip back in and have another watch.
The papers are Crafters Companion Garden of Love and the Satin card is from there too.
Ribbon, lace and pearls are from my stash.

Something Magical

Here's a card I made a little while ago with the intention of sending it to a colleagues partner. However I ended up giving it to the colleague to use himself and made a different one from me.

I bought the stamp in The Range, it has a few other images on it and is by Avec I think. I coloured it with my copics.
The papers are Catherine Pooler - Cake and Confetti which I bought from Dies to Die For at Stamp Magic last year, strange to think that we would have been going there this coming Sunday.
Sentiment is from an old Craftwork Cards kit and jewels are from my sparkles drawers.

I am entering this card at Allsorts where the theme is Something Magical

I've used my Gansai Tambai watercolours on both of them.

Something old, something blue

I hope everyone is well and coping with the current situation the world finds itself in.

So I was uploading some images to the blog this morning to use for future posts and discovered that I already had 70 cards in draft posts (oops!). Having a quick look at some of them I came across this one that I sent a friend for her birthday a few years ago and as it is her birthday today it seemed appropriate to finally publish it on here.
