Penny Black Saturday week 125

The challenge over at Penny Black Saturday this week is zig zags or triangles.
I have used a stickeroo with a zig zag edge from the garden poems sheet which I have matted onto some pink bazzill cardstock.
The background papers are from the Basic GreyKioshi and Porcelain ranges. I have overstamped them with a Magenta stamp in Memento Potters Clay and then gllttered with a quickie glue pen and some bright pink glitter from the Art Institute Rio set.
The sentiment is from Woodware, and the lovely zig zaggy velvet ric rac is Ithink by Maya Road.
Base card is by Craftwork Cards

Another workshop

This is a card I amde on a workshop with Julie Hickey at Craftwork Cards in the summer and I've been saving it for my hairdresser whose birthday is tomorrow as she likes Cath Kidston style so these Vintage Rose papers fitted the bill.
Everything on this card is from Craftwork Cards.

Handbag with a difference

Here's a card I made for a friend at work last week. She likes hedgehogs and autumn colours.

I copied the design of the card from one I had done on a workshop at Which Crafts in Doncaster a few weeks ago and it uses one of their small hanbag cards.

The main image is a Penny Black slapstick which I have coloured in with watercolour pencils, and the sentiment is from a woodware set. I went around the edge of the circle with some printworks ink, the papers on the back panel are My Minds Eye Bloom and Grow and the ribbon is from my 'slightly smaller' collection

Down to the wire

My nephew gets married today and I have finally managed to make a card last night, the insert has been sorted this morning!
Main image is Curly Wedding cake by Denami and has been stamped onto Craftwork Cards silver ice card with Brilliance Graphite Black and coloured with a periwinkle Marvy le plume marker. I have embellished it with crystals which you can just about pick out if you look closely.
Sentiment is by Woodware and part of a very useful sheet.
Paper came out of the box I picked out at the kanban sale day, blue card is pearlised Bazzill and the base card is silver ice size 6. Brads are making memories and ribbon is from my little collection.

Another LOTV Topper

I am usually much further ahead with my Christmas cards but this year I am so far behind that it is unlikely that everyone will get a made one. When I saw these toppers at the Harrogate show they were great value for money and also will save me at least 40 lots of stamping and colouring in so into my bag they went.
For this card I have delved into the Hot of the Press kit again for the paper which I have embellished with a Denami stamp which I think is called Holly Swirl but it could be flourish.
Blue card has been through the cuttlebug, green card was from Papermill shop at Mansfield before it shut and the base card is by Craftwork Cards.

Happy Birthday Paul!!!

It's my nephews birthday today and he has been an avid Liverpool fan since he was knee high. I made this card and then heard that they were near the bottom of the table at the moment, oops. He shouldn't hold it against me.
Stamp is by Lili of the Valley and coloured with Promarkers, paper is American Crafts, sentiment is Hot Off the Press which has been hanging around for ages and the base card and the black card are by Craftwork Cards
Brads are Papermania, and layout is by ME!

Sketch and Stash

I have had this sketch and stash sketch on my clipboard for a while now and was playing with this stamp and some memento inks on Sunday afternoon and the shape just fitted.
Remembered that I had these papers from Stampin Up as yet uncut, a bit of green Bazzill from the scrap bag, a couple of papermania brads, Craftwork Cards base card and there it was done.

A bit of Christmas

Here's a simple card I made at the last craft group night.
The main image is a Lily of the Valley topper highlighted with a brad from a Hot of the Press kit which I have from a few Christmasses ago, the patterned paper is from the same place.
Red ribbon is from my collection and the base card, greeting and red card are from Craftwork Cards.
