two for one

Well I had every intention of using a Digi Stamp Boutique image for this card but just as I was about to come upstairs to print one off to use our power went off. So I reverted back to Lili of the Valley artpads for my card using this weeks Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 sketch

Here is the sketch

and like the Frank Sinatra song New York, New York so good I used it twice here are the cards I made

Well actually 3 but without the circle but that would probably be overkill.

So materials on the first one are
Image Lili of the Valley
Papers Velvet Plum from Craftwork Cards and the sentiment is from the same collection.
Base card Craftwork Cards
Ribbon American Crafts

Second card is as above with the exception that the sentiment is from Lili of the Valley

So the majority of the product came from within a 25 mile radius of home so that's me doing my bit for the local economy.

Another Sweet Sketch

Well the lurgy never came out totally, well not enough to warrant a day off work anyway. So after another busy week at work I put guillotine  to paper and made this

following this sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2

while eating this

well some of it.

I wasn't able to get a photo until this morning, there was too much shadow with all the sleet we had yesterday but it didn't stop us hopping on to the train to Leeds for a bit of lunch and a wander around the shops.

So for my card I have used
Base card - Craftwork Cards 148mm scalloped
Brown Card from Bazzill
Image - Lili of the Valley Just for girls artpad
Papers Lili of the Valley Always and Forever and Always and Forever solids
Sentiment Lili of the Valley
Ribbon and pearls came from the craft room shelves.
Circle dies Spellbinders
Scalloped circle die Go Kreate

Not quite a duplicate

Here's another stepper card, made at the same time as the one I shared yesterday.

I think the only difference is that this time the circle is a Spellbinders die and that and the paper flower are on the left hand side.

Thank you for visiting and hope regulars didn't think I had posted exactly the same card

You rock ....

Not feeling 100% today (hope it's not the dreaded lurgy that I have been managing to avoid) so in between naps and a quick visit to the local craft shop I have been having a play with this weeks Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 sketch

I have flipped the sketch and this is my card

The image is a Bugaboo image, Rock Star Boy which I have coloured with copic markers and polychromos pencils.
Papers are from the Lili of the Valley/Nitwits Candles and Cake pad.
Wooden embellishments are Studio Calico
Base card is a Craftwork Cards and the blue card is Bazzill

Don't tell Kath.......

........ but I've used at least 2 feet of ribbon this afternoon.

I made this card

following this sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2

There is an added twist of Sparkle and Shine too so I have used gems rather as highlights in the corners.

The image and papers are Bluebell from Wild Rose Studio, it was from  free kit in a magazine at the end of last year.
Base card is Craftwork Cards
Purple and cream card is from Bazzill
Sentiment is Lili of the Valley
Ribbon, hemp and gems are off the craft room shelf.
Flower punches are EK Success
Leaf punch is Woodware
