Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 DT Sketch 297

Hello and thank you for visiting

Here is my second DT card for Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 this month

This is using sketch 297

I delved into my Hobby House kits and picked out this precoloured image from the Daisy Mae Draws Meadow Friends sheet and the paper is the Daisy Chain Floral, the sentiment is from the Circle Sentiments set from Julie Hickey Designs, ribbon and pearls are from stash.
The card blank came from Craftwork Cards.
Definitely a shop from stash kind of card.

Here is the sketch

Nice and simple for a quick card

I am entering this card at
Allsorts Challenge 817 where Liz would like us to use Shades of Blue and there is also an Anything Goes Option, there's a bit of blue in the papers and the ribbon and also on the owls hat.

Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 DT Sketch 296

Hello everyone, I am here to share my first card for Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 this month, I am mindful that I haven't shared the second one for last month yet but I will share it soon.

This month is my 10 year annivaersary with SSW2, there have been a few changes over those years but I am happy to still be part of the team.

Here is the card I made for sketch 296

I made a 7 x 3 and a 1/4 inch card blank from some turquoisy-green cardstock. The paper is Nitwits Promises from an LOTV pad and the vellum is from Craftwork Cards and is probably about 20 years old.
The flower images are from Julie Hickey Designs Blooming Gorgeous stamp set and I stamped the image 3 times (I also rotated it) and coloured it with Spectrum Noir markers.
The sentiment came from Julie Hickey Designs Daisy Blooms stamps set.

Here is the sketch which I rotated anti-clockwise

If you feel inspired the challenge runs until the 4th of March

I would like to enter my cards in the following challenges

We Love Stamping - I am following the Anything Goes option with this card but I have a CAS card to share soon
Stamping Sensations - again following the Anything Goes Option

Thanks for visiting

Critter Crazy #95 DT card

January was a particularly busy month in the Paper and Ink house not least because I ran a class at my stitchy group to make needlebooks and there was lots of prep needed but here we are at the 1st of February so it's time for me to share my DT card for Critter Crazy Challenge.

I used a precoloured image from Lili of the Valley which I have had forever and cut it out with a die from Julie Hickey Designs Dinky squares set , then I used some Nitwits papers from the Promises set, these came from Lili of the Valley when they did the paper pads. The sentiment is Craftwork Cards as is the card blank and gems are Stampin' Up as is the oval punch I used for the sentiment.
Cardstock and ribbon are from my stash.
I definitely shopped my stash for this one.

I am entering my card at
Allsorts Challenge Blog #816 following the Anything Goes option although it could fit the Romance theme with a gift of flowers.
