SSW2

It's been a busy time in our house for the last couple of months, we are in the midst of decorating, my husband turned 60 in June and had a big party and then we went away for a fabulous 10 days in Fuschl in Austria. This was our balcony and yes the lake really was that colour.

So we had a new challenge start last Wednesday over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 and here is my card.

I went slightly off the sketch as I flipped it and did my roibbon slightly differently but my sister-in-law who was the recipient liked it.

Another wonderful card Anne, you did an amazing job with this sketch which I totally love this card. Your holiday in Austria looks amazing. The South Island in New Zealand is very much like Austria especially the colour of the lakes. They look wonderful but the water temperature even in the summer is still very cold. They get that wonderful colour from the shist off the mountain when the snow melts. Google Lake Tekapo in New Zealand and have a look at the images. I remember one very hot summers day jumping out of the car for a swim in the lake and ran out as fast as I ran in as the water was so cold from the melting snow from the mountains in the foreground. The South Island of NZ has an amazing amount of lakes.
