A new year at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2

Hello and thank you for visiting my blog today.

I am sharing my first DT card for our Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 challenge.

It started yesterday but I was covering for someone at work on Tuesday and it threw me out with what day of the week it was, oops!

We have 2 sketches and a retro sketch each  month and I'd love it if you were to feel inspired enough to enter our challenge.

Here is my card using sketch 319

and here is the sketch

I used the Chantilly Rose collection from The Hobby House, I have a few of their collections in my stash and as I was a little behind as I had hurt my back using ready made elements was a good option.
The die is Polka Dot Square Tile by Jamie Rodgers Craft and is cut from some plain turquoise card from Dragons papercraft and the gems were in a parcel of crafty loveliness which came from my lovely friend for my birthday.

I am entering my card in the following challenges
Lil' Patch of Craft Friends - #269 Anything Goes

I had a new diary for my birthday so I am writing challenges in there as they are launched and are in my reading list so hopefully this means I can be better at entering. Time will tell.

Beautiful card and papers, love the polka dot square. Hope your back feels better soon- I have a journal that lists the daily challenges, a notebook with monthly challenges, another notebook with DT challenge lists and a smaller journal with addresses/ birthday and a smaller journal for card swap details and addresses--my name is Carol and I have a notebook/journal addiction lol.

Oh Anne, I''m so sorry to hear that you've hurt your back, nothing more painful. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
I love your card, especially the lovely pastal shades. If the ready made elements helps your why not. Funny my card doen't have a coloured image and I feel guilty. Reading Carols addictions it isn't a badaddiction to have at least she not hurting anyone. Take care wishing you a speedy recovery.
