Easter Greetings

The challenge over at Daring Cardmakers this week is Spring or Easter.

Here's my entry, it's an A6 card blank from Craftwork Cards.

The stamp is a Creative Stamping stamp which I have had for some time, its stamped onto Craftwork Cards digital textured cardstock in Memento and coloured with Promarkers. The circle has been cut out with a nestability.

Green card is coredinations, yellow dotty card is from my local craft shop, green dotty paper is craft creations, dotty ribbon is may arts I think and the sentiment is woodware.

Thank you for looking.

Little Claire

The challenge over on the Little Claire blog is Pink and Green.

I bought the A Place in the Sun set at Harrogate last weekend and have used the bottom half of it for a new home card. The image has been stamped onto Craftwork Cards textured digital cardstock with memento ink and then coloured with Promarkers. I then matted it onto some green pearlescent card.

Decorative papers are from the First Edition Desert Blooms 6x6 stack, the bottom one has been overstamped in Adirondack lettuce with an Aspects of Design fancy flourish stamp. Flowers were punched from vellum and the bling is from the hobby house. Sentiment is made up from doodlebug rub ons.

I made the base card from a sheet of the Textured Digital cardstock as well.

It's Caroles birthday today and this is the card I made for her.
The image is by Lily of the Valley which I have stamped onto Craftwork Cards back to basics card and coloured with promarkers then highlighted with some art institute glitter which doesn't show up very well. The scallop circle is a nestability cut from bazzill card, papers are Basic Grey Lily Kate, crystals are swarowski, and the ribbon is from my collection. Base card is also Cratwork Cards.

Another outing for the precious moments stamp

It was Paulines birthday on Tuesday and I inked up one of my favourite Sarah Kay stamps for her card. I've coloured it with promarkers to match the Crate papers and cardstock from Craftwork Cards. The base card is made from Bazzill.
The sentiments are Craftwork Cards and Hero Arts. Flowers are got flowers and the jewels are from Papermania.
I don't think I have used this colour combination before but I think it works.
Thank you as always for looking

Lili of the Valley Challenge

The Lily of the Valley challenge this time around is a sketch challenge. This is the first time I have entered this challenge but had to make a card for someone at work and so thought I would combine the two and enjoyed the play.
The main image is by Lily of the Valley and is stamped onto the digital super smooth cardstock by craftwork cards and coloured with promarkers. Sentiment is from a 99p dovecraft set.
Papers are basic grey kioshi, flowers are prima and the pearl brads were bought form the hobby house when we were over in Tetney a couple of weeks ago. Ribbon is from my collection.

More Christmas

I made this card thee other week when I was over at Peggys, I have a few cards ready with the paper squares on now but need to get cracking with the stamping and colouring.
I really like this Penny Black Santa as he looks quite European and I decided to colour hiom in blue to match the papers, I think he is traditionally in blue in some countries but don't quote me on that , it is a "think".
Papers are still from that Dovecraft pack, image is stamped onto Craftwork Cards Cardstock, I need to stock up actually, and coloured with promarkers. Sentiment and base card are also Craftwork Cards.

Card for the other half

Martin ended up with a very simple card this year. It is 9 squares of Papermania Hampton papers edged with brown ink mouted onto a Craftwork Cards back to basics size 6 card. Then I have stamped a Lili of the Valley image and coloured it with Promarkers to match. He likes this kind of colour scheme so was happy with the result. Sentiment is by Craftwork cards

Penny Black Saturday 107

It's been a few weeks since I entered anything in the PBSC, life and crafting got in the way of crafting for a bit.
Anyway, it's may sisters wedding anniversary on Saturday and as they go fishing this Penny Black image fitted the bill perfectly.
The image has been coloured with promarkers and then matted onto some Bazzill. The patchwork background is made up of Spring Whimsy papers by Nitwits collections and the joins have been stamped with a Hero Arts stamp in Brilliance Starlight Black.
Brads and ribbon are from my collection. Base card (which the scan hasn't picked up) and card for stamped image is from Craftwork Cards. Sentiment is by Woodware.

Sketch and stash take 2

Here's another card from the sketch and stash sketch. I coloured this owl oval in when I coloured the other oval in and as I liked the sketch thought I'd use it again.
Papers on this ones are Craftwork Cards Richie and Susie which I have inked around the edge with Graphite Black Briliiance Ink. Pink band of card is Bazzill, everything else is from my collection.
Only one piece of ribbon on this one, I wouldn't want to run out

Same stamp

Here's a card using the same stamp as yesterday. I made this a little while ago and hadn't posted it so thought that I would share.
Papers are by Craftwork cards, I have overstamped them with one of their stamps in blue and also used this stamp around the image to pull it all together.
3 pieces of lace/ribbon and the flowers are Prima and some from my stash which have been coloured with promarkers.

mooooo

I love this Penny Black stamp as it always makes me smile, but it spends more time in my stamp drawer than out of it so I took it to the last craft night and inked it up and coloured it in with Promarkers. I inked around the edges and then mounted it onto a base card with Myminds Eye papers which I overstamped with Judikins Mince Flowers and Leaves stamp. Paper ribbon is by Paper Cellar, red card was kindly donated by Carole and flowers are from my stash. The blue pearls and the big flower were coloured with promarkers too, I was really pleased with how they came up.

Papertake Weekly

I've had a good week off work and chance to take part in some blog challenges while my other half did the decorating.

I liked this sketch from Papertake Weekly so much that I have made 5 cards so far and will probably end up doing more.

I 've used a new stamp from Lili of the Valley coloured with Promarkers; papers are some K&Co which I've had for ages and I overstamped the plain one and the background with an SU stamp
