Winter birthday

Thank you for visiting my blog today.

I am sharing the card which I have made for my niece for her birthday, she loves penguins so hopefully she will enjoy it.

I've used Birthday Penguin by Whimsy Stamps which I have coloured with alcohol markers, this is such a joyful stamp and I always enjoy creating with it.
I think the happy birthday die is a tattered lace and the niece is from Hazels Female Family medley set from Julie Hickey Designs.
Papers are Lili of the Valley/Raspberry Road designs - Shabby Shack
Circle dies are Studio Light Essentials - Nested Circles another favourite with the mix of stitchy detail and scalloped edge dies.

I would like to enter my card in the following challenges
Allsorts Challenge #840 - Winter Animals
Stamping Sensations - Something beginning with B - a penguin is a bird - Norton seems to have fallen out with a few blogs so I will try again in a couple of days
Make my Monday 269  - Use paper with pattern
Passion for Markers #820 - Favourite Digi or Stamp

I do hope that I have followed everyones rules correctly

Best wishes

A new year at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2

Hello and thank you for visiting my blog today.

I am sharing my first DT card for our Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 challenge.

It started yesterday but I was covering for someone at work on Tuesday and it threw me out with what day of the week it was, oops!

We have 2 sketches and a retro sketch each  month and I'd love it if you were to feel inspired enough to enter our challenge.

Here is my card using sketch 319

and here is the sketch

I used the Chantilly Rose collection from The Hobby House, I have a few of their collections in my stash and as I was a little behind as I had hurt my back using ready made elements was a good option.
The die is Polka Dot Square Tile by Jamie Rodgers Craft and is cut from some plain turquoise card from Dragons papercraft and the gems were in a parcel of crafty loveliness which came from my lovely friend for my birthday.

I am entering my card in the following challenges
Lil' Patch of Craft Friends - #269 Anything Goes

I had a new diary for my birthday so I am writing challenges in there as they are launched and are in my reading list so hopefully this means I can be better at entering. Time will tell.

Hello and thank you for visiting my blog today

This is the first of my DT posts which I have to share today.

This is for Challenge #109 at Do-Al(l)-Kreatives where the theme is to make a flag card or for anything goes.

I hadn't made one of these before so I followed a tutorial by Jan B from 2019
I used stamps from a recent release by Julie Hickey Designs - Solids #1, Natures Garden #1 and #2 and for my sentiments I used stamps from Beautiful Blooms and Circle Sentiments.
The paper is from Stampin Up and I used Memento inks in Tuxedo Back, Elderberry, Lulu Lavender, New Sprout and Pistachio.
The flowers were coloured with alcohol markers.

Here is my card using sketch 316 which is perfect for a quick card.

and here is the sketch.

I have used a very old Lili of the Valley image from the Mini Masterpieces sheets they did in the dim and distant past, I think this was sheet 20.

Critter Crazy #105

Hello and thank you for visiting my blog today.

I am a little late with my post this month as I was unwell last week and so got a little behind.

This is for the Critter Crazy Challenge where anything with a Critter can be used.

I made this Easy Star Fold card for a workmate who had a birthday last month,
Cardstock is from my stash, I cut down some Craftwork Cards card blanks so that all the white matched.
The  sentiment is Made to Surprise All the Sentiments
Papers and focal image of Snoopy are from a paper pad which came from Craft Stash before they closed down.

I have another prominent sentiment on this so I am going to enter it over at Allsorts where the theme is Focal Sentiment or Anything Goes
