Critter Crazy #93 December 2024

I am here to share my DT card for this months challenge at Critter Crazy Challenge Blog.
In October I went to a day retreat run by Julie from The Paper Haven where we were using the Reindeer Days suite from Stampin Up

I had an idea to make a diorama card with the lovely dies and deer fussy cut from the papers and then just used a sentiment stamp to finish.

I am entering this card at Allsorts Challenge Blog where the theme is Winter Flowers and Fauna - I think that pine trees and the deer should fit that brief.

Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 Cards

I am a little late posting my cards for Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 this month (here's hoping that I will be better in 2025) so I will post both cards together.

Here is the card I made with sketch 289

My image was free with issue 139 of Creative Stamping, it's part of a fun set with lots of cute animals including some pigs in blankets and I will definitely be using the set for more cards. The sentiment is from the same set.
The papers are LOTV Scandi Christmas and the ribbon came from our local branch of Boyes (it's a shop that sells a bit of everything) and the snowflakes were cut from dies from a Papercraft Sociey box.
I used a mixture of Polkadoodles and Spellbinders dies for the ovals

Now for my sketch using Sketch 290

The card base for this card came from Craftwork Cards, the image is from the Whichcraft? set HoHoHo and I have coloured it with Copics. The papers were free with a magazine and the ribbon and gems are from stash.

I will be entering the card with the penguin at Allsorts Challenge where Liz has chosen the theme of Ribbon and Twine because I am so late in the month I will enter at the Rudolph Days Challenge too.

Thank you for visiting

Critter Crazy #92

This is my card for the November challenge at Critter Crazy, I used a very old stamp from Little Claire Designs called The Smile I Bring, I think it came as part of the monthly club which they ran when they were trading. My card base came from Whichcraft? in Doncaster and the papers are Stampin Up, sentiments are Julie Hickey Designs.

Thank you to those of you that have visited and commented, it is always appreciated and one day I will get better at commenting more regularly.

We Love Stamping Guest Designer

Here's my second card for my guest design spot at We Love Stamping this month where the theme is Autumn. I am a little late posting as I wasn't sure just what date the reminder went live, sorry, (note to self - ask)
Thank you for asking me to design with you again.

For this card I made a card base using sage green card from Limetree Crafts. The toadstool image is from a magazine free set, I think from Creative Stamping, which I have coloured using Copic markers and then inked around the edges with Distress Oxide in Antique Linen. The shadow stamp is Memento Desert Sand.
The sentiment is from the Uniko Simply Said set and the ribbon is from stash.

Thank you for visiting.

We Love Stamping Guest Designer

I am guest designing at We Love Stamping again this month where the theme is Autumn/Anything Goes and here is my first card.

I don't have many autumnal themed stamps but I searched through the stamp collection and made a scene using images from two Craftwork Cards sets, The Mulberry Tree and Landscape Artist, using Memento Inks onto Wow! Smooth cardstock. The sentiment is Uniko Just Because Set.
I matted the image onto SU Mossy Meadow card amnd embellished with papers from an incredibly old pad by Papermania -Hampstead, some linen thread and some stamped leaves from one of the sets.

Thanks to We Love Stamping for having me back to guest design this month

SSW2 Sketch 287

Here is my first card for this month for Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2

This uses Sketch 287, designed by the lovely Kathie

I used the Lili of the Valley Simply Print To The Top for the main image and sign and for the scene I used Made to Surprise Swing and Jungle Scenes paper pad. Julie Hickey Designs Layers, Frames and Banners Dies were used and the Happy Birthday was also from Julie Hickey from the Friendship Blooms stamp set. I finished it off with some Stampin Up Enamel Dots and it is all on a 148mm square base card.
