Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 DT

Hello again everyone, thank you for all the good wishes and I am happy to say that I am feeling much better now than I was at the beginning of our holiday.

Well the blog posts are coming thick and fast at the moment (let's see how long I can keep it up) and today I am sharing my first DT card of the month for Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.

This uses Sketch 281

I've used Trusty Toolbox papers and Trusty Tools dies from Stampin Up on a 5x7 card blank. I needed a quick card so fussy cut the tool images from the papers.
The sentiment is from Julie Hickey Designs and ribbon is from stash.

Here is Kathies sketch

Thank you for visiting

Critter Crazy July DT

Here's my DT card for challenge #88 over at Critter Crazy Challenge which started yesterday.

I used elements from a Papercraft Society Box designed by Sam Calcott of Mixed up Craft.
The images were all coloured with pencils and the wave effect on the blue card is from a stencil.

I made this some time ago and never blogged it so as time was short before my recent holiday I thought that I would utilise it. I think I need to get this kit out and play with it again, this is the joy of stamps of course.

Thank you for visiting and for all the lovely comments left.

Sweet Sketches for June

We have recently returned from a lovely 2 weeks in the Italian Lakes.

It was a much needed break made more so because I was ill just before we went away, but being unwell I didn't post my Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 DT cards before we left so here they are.

I made 2 cards using sketch 279 using the Dovecraft Butterfly Kisses collection. I bought a second set of this because I enjoy using it so much, the colours are so lovely.

Then the card made for the second sketch uses some Flight and Airy papers from Stampin Up and a very old Hero Arts Sentiment

Any ribbon and jewels are from my stash.

I have some stitching to share as due to the weather (torrential rain or very hot) and the need to rest and rechage while we were away I got quite a lot of stitching in.

I finished Jardin Prive The Colours in my Garden, I had 3/4 of the border and most of the white backstitch to do and was determined to finish it once I started, so 11 hours sticthing later I managed it.

I also stitched on My Little Dove designs A Garden Full of Flowers Stitchalong. I am only stitching on part 4 and the last part which is part 6 came out today.

Then I stitched on the kit from the Cotton and Twine April Box which is alos designed by Faye at Little Dove.

I think that's all from me for now as I will be back tomorrow with my latest DT card for Critter Crazy.

I would like to enter my finished stitching at Allsorts where the theme is Way to Grow and gardens certainly grow.

June at Critter Crazy DT card

I can't believe that we are in June already, where does the time go. Anyway it's the first of the month and time for another challenge to start at Critter Crazy Challenge and here is my card.

I made this for a friends birthday in May who has an adopted cat.
I have used the following to make this faux stepper card.
Image LOTV Cupcake Party which I coloured with Copics and Spectrum Noir markers.
Sentiment is from a very old Hero Arts stamp - Birthday Messages.
Dies are Stampin Up Everyday Details.
Papers are Nitwits Bonnets and Bowties
Cardstock is from B&M

I would like to enter my card at
Do-Al(l) Kreatives Challenge #90 where the theme is Animals this month

Sketch 278 at SSW2

Hello everyone. I am here with my second card for Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 this month. It's been a busy few weeks so I am a bit behind and will get caught up with some visiting soon.

This is with sketch 278, it's a really quick and easy one to play with and I made it even quicker by using a precoloured topper from Lili of the Valley.

I think the image is from one of the sheets they used to do with a few different sizes.
Papers are Stampin Up in Cherry Cobbler and everything else is from stash.
Card base is 6x6.

I'm entering this at AllsortsAllsorts where the theme is Anything Goes / Blast from the Past - the car is pretty vintage so I think it meets the theme and to be honest once I had decided on all the ingredients it was made in a blast.

Stepper cards faux and not so faux

Hello from a bright and sunny Yorkshire.

I have been getting around to posting for the last few days but have been distracted by my cross-stitch as I aim to stitch every day in  May.

Anyway here are a few cards with more than one fold which have been made recently.

The first one is a stepper card which I have made for my niece to send to her mum, I am early with it but it should be safe to post as I don't think that any of my family look at my blog.

I used a decoupage sheet from Craft Creations, I think it's still available from Katy Sue.
The papers are Lili of the Valley /Nitwit and the base card was precut from WhichCraft. I have lots of their cards and really need to work my way through them. The ribbon and pearls are from stash - I'm not sure why I put that because at the end of the day everything is but ...... anyway onto the next card

This one I made for my brothers birthday

Everything on this card is Stampin Up apart from the Happy Birthday which is a Timber Boutique and the little dots are Glossies from Julie Hickey Designs. The mini alphabet is really useful as it is only 3/4 of an inch high or 19mm if you work in metric, I do both as we started in inches at school and moved to metric.

Finally this card hasn't got a home yet, I might use it for happy mail

I used Lili of the Valley/Nitwits papers again, these are Bonnets and Bowties.
The stamp is one that I have had for at least 5 years and hadn't inked up until last weekend and is HobbyArt Floral Patchwork, the dotty dies are Stampin Up and the sentiment is Julie Hickey Designs.
I coloured with Copics and Spectrum Noir markers.

Now onto that stitching, I've put a few evenings work on this one this week and I have really been enjoying it. I might do a little more tonight but I also have a new start for a stitchalong.

A long post from me today so thank you for getting this far.

I am entering my card(s) at Allsorts where Liz has chosen More Than One Fold for this weeks theme.
I'll also enter at Crafty Calendar where the theme this month is Anything Goes and  last but not least to Darnells NBUS challenge for the letter dies and the flower stamp and the decoupage sheet at a pinch.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend, I think we may have a warm and sunny Saturday this weekend, rain is forecast for Sunday but we can't have everything.

Best wishes
Anne

May at Critter Crazy

I'm here with my second DT card of the day.

This is for Critter Crazy Challenge where we would like creatures to be the main focus of your card.

I've used a 5x7 base card along with Stampin Up Zany Zoo papers, the circle die is also Stampin Up.
Sentiment is Julie Hickey Designs and the balloons are an old Docrafts punch.

Thank you for visiting.

I am entering my card in the following challenges
