Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 -12
So here is my entry for this weeks sketch over at Sweet sketch Wednesday 2
and here is the sketch
The image is from the Crafters Companion Mulberry Wood CD but I have adapted it as it only had the one bear and I wanted two, the sentiment is from a Woodware stamp, the pink card is coredinations and everything else is Craftwork Cards.
Thank you for visiting and for any comments you are kind enough to leave

Best laid plans
So I had planned to have a whole day crafting while we were off over Easter. It didn't happen.
First we got distracted by this little chap bobbing around the garden and in and out of the nest box, fingers crossed they have taken up residence with us this year

Then today I was in the mood for baking so baked a loaf
used the bananas up with some banana and sultana buns
then thought I had better use some of the rhubarb out of the garden before the stalks got too big so I made crumbles
Then I found the time to make a card for Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2, not quite as last minute as last week, although last minute was good for me as amazingly I won!
So here is this weeks sketch
another great sketch which will definitely be used again.
Here is my card
I twisted the sketch so that my Digistamp boutique image would fit.
The base card is a 120mm scalloped from Craftwork cards, image is coloured with Copics as are the punched hearts in the right hand corner.
Lilac card is American Crafts and left over from a mermaid card I made a few weeks ago, flower papers came free in a magazine, white card has been embossed with a Sizzix embossing folder and I think the trim came from The Range.
Thank you for visiting and for putting up with all the waffle and I have just twigged that Allsorts Challenge blog have Birds and Feathers for their challenge this week so I will enter this there too.

Nearly out of time
Well with 2 hours to go I am finally managing to do an entry for the latest sketch over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2
So here is the sketch, another blast from the past
and here is my effort
So here is the sketch, another blast from the past
and here is my effort
Not sure I am 100% happy with it but wanted to get an entry in as all the DT are so supportive in their lovely comments.
So the main image is a Reddy decoupage image, ribbon came from Stampin up, pearls are Hobby House and the cardstock, papers (which I have overstamped but it doesn't show up too well) and the sentiment are all Craftwork Cards.
Sorry about the bit of glare on the pic but that is the problem with taking photos at 9.45pm.
Thank you for visiting and I hope all my visitors who celebrate it have a lovely Easter.

From the depths of the giveaway bag
Here's a card for our great nephew over in Australia, he will be 3 in a couple of weeks.
I have used this weeks Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 sketch
another great one.
The image is from one of the Lili of the Valley mini masterpiece sheets which isn't available any more but the stamp is and it's called Yee Haa! The no longer available theme continued with the paper and corrugated card which I rescued from the to give away bag and the blue pearl card came from Craftwork Cards originally but am not sure if they do it any more.
The base card and sentiment are still available from Craftwork Cards, the wood veneer embellishments are Studio Calico and the twine is American Crafts.
Allsorts have a No Flowers challenge this week so I will enter this there and also Ooh la la creations have a Card for a Child so I will enter there too.
Thank you for visiting and for any comments you are kind enough to take the time to leave
