A sweet sketch reprisal

It's the last sketch of the month again over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 so we are revisiting an old sketch from Arlana

This week we are sponsored by Deedees digis who supplies us with a blank and a coloured in image which is great when time is limited.

I have used The Beauty of the Season for my card, when I saw the image I thought I would use a bit of artistic licence on my card as I thought the image was just perfect for this sketch

My papers are Nitwits/Lili of the Valley
Sentiment and base card are Craftwork Cards

Thank you for visiting and I hope that you can join in with us this week

Sweet Sketch with Sami stamps

Here we are Wednesday already but to be honest it feels like it is later in the week than that.

We have another great sketch from Sally this week at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2

such an easy sketch to use.

I used the Butterfly Flower image from our sponsors Sami Stamps on my card, printed once on cardstock and then on vellum, simply coloured with pencils and then layered together, you can just see the shadow on the picture.
Papers are Lili of the Valley Romance and Roses.

Thank you for visiting, I hope that you can pop over to the blog and check out the wonderful creations from the rest of the design team.

Racing along to Sweet Sketch

Hello, here we are on Wednesday again and I am still trying to get some kind of routine back after the holidays.

I was so pleased to be hosting over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 this week as it gave me longer to get my DT card done and here it is

It's another great sketch from Sally

and our sponsor is Digi Stamp Boutique who are donating a great prize of a £10 voucher.

I do hope that you can join in with us this week after all despite the fact that St Swithins Day will be fine there is rain forecast for the end of the week - good weather for crafting I say!

Doubly inspired

We have another brilliant sketch from Sally this week, lots of ways to use up those small pieces of paper.

We are sponsored by Fresh Brewed designs and I chose this sweet image Turtle Love and made this card with some of the new Sunny Side Up papers from Lili of the Valley.

I had had an idea to do a line of turtles as well so I elongated the sketch and made this DL card using the same papers.

I think the sketch stretched itself quite well to accommodate my turtle family.

I hope that you can join in with us at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 this week

A touch of the venetian

Well the laundry mountain is conquered and I have caught up with some commenting so thought I would share the card I made for Martins birthday which was while we were away on holiday.
The hotel very kindly left a complimentary bottle of wine in our room on the day too.

The image is of Venice and is from one of the Sung Kim pads from Joanna Sheen.
I have teamed it with papers from the Venetian Collection from Craftwork Cards and the sentiment is Lili of the Valley.

Thank you for visiting and hope you are enjoying the sunshine

Wednesdays are always sweeter with a sketch

We are just back from a lovely relaxing 2 weeks in Croatia, our first visit to this beautiful part of Europe.
We stayed just south of Dubrovnik, a lovely city with lots to see and very nice ice cream, and the sea was such a gorgeous colour.

Anyway it was back to work yesterday and the last day of the month is not the best day to go back but I had no intention of going back the day after we arrived back in the UK, we did that a couple of years ago and it was pants.

So one of the first jobs when we got back (apart from the washing mountain) is this weeks DT card for Sweet Sketch Wednesday.

Here is this weeks sketch

a great sketch which I rotated 90 degrees and created this card using video game guy from our sponsor for this week Bugaboo

I used some papers that I have had forever and the sentiment is from a Woodware stamp.

Thank you for visiting and please do try and pop over to Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 and check out what the rest of the team have been up to and even better join in, it's a great prize from a company with a great range of digi images.
