Sweet Sketch and Deedees Designs

Here is my card for this weeks Sketch over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.

This week we are sponsored by Deedees and I chose to use the set Autumn Splendour. You get three other images with this set and some words as well as line art. I am thinking of making a Christmas Card with this wreath too, I think it might work.

This is the sketch we were following this week, an oldie but a goodie as it is the last week in the month.

I am also entering this card at Allsorts who have Use At Least 3 dies as their challenge this week. I have used Nestabilies Circle and Scalloped Circle, and Square and Scalloped Square.

Here are a couple of cards which I made with the other images in the set. Hopefully the recipients will have received them by now

Thank you so much for visiting and for any comments you are kind enough to leave.

A sweet sketch with a digi sponsor

I so enjoyed making my Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 card this week, the hardest part is getting a decent photo now that the days are shorter so it was back to the daylight lamp and the cushion.

Sally has made up another great sketch for us this week over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2. Here it is.
Great for using up those little bits of papers that you might have left over.

Here's what I made with it

This week we are sponsored by Digistamp Boutique and I chose to use this new image Penguin Greeting (not much colouring to do) along with the  Snowy Background which I resized to fit the sketch then added some Stickles Crystal (because it was flowing better than the Diamond) glitter glue to highlight it.

I've used the Festive Trimmings papers from Nitwits/LOTV and glittered around them too, a piece of ribbon and shiny red candy completed this weeks card.

If you have time then do join us Sally-Ann always gives such a generous prize and has a fantastic range of images

Thank you for visiting me and for any comments you are kind enough to take the time to leave.

Just hanging ......

I made this door hanger for my great-nephew as part of his birthday present.

The image is a Hobby House topper  and the papers were left over from his card which I am sharing below and it seemed right that they went together in the same post.

The words are made from American Crafts Thickers.

I am entering this at Allsorts Challenge Blog  who have Anything but a card for there theme this week

Thank you for visiting, I really do appreciate any comments you take the time to leave

Still in Scarecrow mode with Dearie Dolls

Here is my card for this weeks challenge over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.
This week we are using Dearie Dolls images and I am still in scarecrow mode so chose this one which was precoloured. Papers and embellishments came from the Take it Easy kit from Craftwork Cards and the Maya Road ribbon came from there many years ago too.
I don't have any large ovals so I used a label die for the mage and drew around it for the mat.

Here is Sallys sketch

Another great one, do pop over to the Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 blog  and play along with us.

Bugabooing a sweet sketch

Wednesday again and time for another great sketch at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 and here it is

This week we are sponsored by Bugaboo, love their images, such a huge variety too.

I chose to use  the Autumn Scarecrow image and really enjoyed colouring it all in then struggled to pick out papers and  embellishments but I think it came together ok in the end.

Anyway here it is. The papers came from a bargain box of scrapbooking goodies that I bought a few years ago, the flowers I have stopped saving for best and I delved into my embroidery silks for the sparkly copper floss.

Thank you for visiting and do pop over to the Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 blog and check out the challenge.
