Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 and A Day for Daisies

Here is my DT card for the current challenge over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 where this time we are sponsored by A Day for Daisies.

I chose to use this sweet snowman image and coloured it with my Sakura sparkle and glaze pens and popped a few Stickles highlights over the top of it.

This challenge we are choosing our favourite sketch from 2016 so  plenty to choose from and plenty of time to enter as the challenge runs for a month.

I do hope that some of you who visit me might be able to join us.

Best wishes and thank you for visiting

Pennys Challenge 308 Rory Santas Little Helper

Here is my card for this weeks challenge at Pennys Paper Crafty Challenge where our Challenge is Christmas.

My picture is a bit pants because I didn't get my card done until teatime on Sunday and I haven't been at home in daylight since and making an easel card meant it was impossible to scan, oh well better luck next week.

Hope it's a good week for you.

Hugs

Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2

Evening all, I am a little late with my Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 DT post tonight as I  didn't get chance to schedule it and have been out straight from work this evening.

Here is Sallys sketch, nice and simple for people like me who are so far behind this year that they may have to buy some cards to send for Christmas.

and here is my card with an image supplied by our sponsors Lacy Sunshine

I had the Nitwits papers out from some other cards I'd been making so decided to use them on this one and colour my image accordingly, so rather than Peppermint Snow Bunny I think I have a toffee, one of those that lasts for ages.
The holly die is sizzix and I've done the pearls with Liquid Pearls.

Thank you for visiting and do please join in the fun with us at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2

Best wishes

The star paper is Trimcraft and the candi and sentiment are from Craftwork Cards.

25 down 60 to go

Here is my DT card for our latest challenge over at Penny's Paper Crafty Challenge, it's Christmas card number 25 and I still need to make about another 60 - oops! I am so far behind, it was making all the wedding stationary that did it I think.

I had this Crafty Sentiments image - Snowman Candy and holly to create with and I coloured him with Copics and Wink of Stella pens. As usual all the sparkle doesn't really show on my photo.

My card base is from Craftwork Cards as is the ribbon, the sentiment is a Penny Black stamp and the snowy background is from Digi stamp Boutique. I have gone around the edge with liquid pearls.

This picture shows the sparkle a little better

Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 and Sami Stamps

Here is this weeks fabulous sketch which we are creating with at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.
Nice and simple great for making a quick card.

I made it even quicker by paper-piecing my lovely image from Sami stamps.
I chose to use Umbrella Splash, who doesn't love splashing though puddles in their wellies.

My papers are from the Craftwork Cards Chambray and lace pad, and all the red bits are from my scraps box. The tiny bit of colouring is from my scrap box..

Thank you for visiting and for any comments you are kind enough to leave and release come and play, you have 2 whole weeks to create.

Here I am again with my DT card for Penny's Paper Crafty Challenges.

Going montrously batty

We have recently had a week in Ibiza, no clubbing but plenty of walking and dodging the showers.
Here's a picture of me and the other half outside the cathedral in Ibiza Old Town. It was taken by a gentleman from Peru who was quite assertive shall we say.

As it's Wednesday, it's time for another sketch at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.

Here's the sketch

This week we are sponsored by Dilly Beans and I ended up using this sweet little monster image.

I had a lightbulb moment and remembered these themed Stampin' Up papers which I had from when I used to attend a crop fun by one of their demos a few years ago, I was so pleased I found them.
My image is coloured with Copics and enhanced with glossy accents.

Thank you for visiting and I do hope that you can play along with us this week.

Pennys card challenge 300

Here's my DT  card for the currrent caleenge at Penny's Paper Crafty Challenge blog. It's a little belated, we had a week away and I have been under the weather for most of the week since we came back.

Our theme this week is Hallowe'en and I don't do Halloween but I've coloured my Lacy Sunshine image Rory's Giant Pumpkin in what I suppose are the traditional colours for this time of year and added a touch of shine with the gold doily which I found when looking at something else, Papers are Basic Grey and I've coloured her with Copics.

Thank you for visiting, best wishes

Lazy Louise

It's time for another challenge at Penny's Paper Crafty Challenge and this week I am using the image Lazy Louise from Oddball Art. It's the first time I have come across these images but I did enjoy creating with her.

I used my polychromos pencils for the colouring and papers are from Raspberry Road.
I have had the little sparklies for years and I just thought that they suited this image.
Ribbon is from Craftwork Cards as is the base card.

Sorry about the photo, it could be brighter, will try harder next time.

Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge Post

I have just joined the Design Team at Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenges and this is my first card for them. Our theme this week is Winter/Christmas.

I have used Christmas Decor from one of our sponsors A Random Fan, a new company to me but I do like this sweet penguin image which I had to play with and had great fun with flock glitter and flower soft which just about shows up on the photo.
I used a scallop circle from Whichcraft to make my card, dies are Spellbinders and Britannia and an X-cut snowflake punch came out of the box too.
Papers are Nitwits Snow Princess.
Coloured with Copic and Sakura pens.

Thank you for taking the time to visit.

Freshly Brewed at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2

Would you believe it we are at sketch 99 at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 this week and here it is

I think that I am in a bit of a bug and flower mode at the moment as I chose Lazy Day Bug from our sponsor Fresh Brewed Designs as the image to use, I've paired it with some Echo Park Summer Days papers, I am obviously not ready to let those summer days go yet.

We do hope that you can play along with us this fortnight and Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 .

Daisies and A Day for Daisies

I'm a little late with my card for Sweet Sketch Wednesday this week.
Shhh don't tell the boss but I ended up printing my image off at work because my laptop was mis-behaving, touch wood it's behaving just now. Anyway here I am.

This week we are sponsored by A Day for Daisies and I have used the image Potted Gerbera Daisies, I do like gerberas but have to admit to a little artistic licence as I don't think that I have ever seen a purple one.

Here is Sallys lovely sketch

I have to admit that I'm not usually keen on a diamond shape focal point but having used my Labels dies on this one I think I might be converted and may have to revisit some older sketches soon.

Why not give it a try at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2

In the garden with Bugaboo and Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2

Hello and welcome to my post for Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.

Work has been too busy for me recently what with catching up after my own break and covering for someone elses. Luckily we have just had a bank holiday and though in theory I had planned lots of crafting I only managed this DT card although I did manage to fit in a few hours at the Great Create in Harrogate where I purchased more craft supplies aided by my beloved.
I am looking forward to getting them out of the bag and having a play.

Enough waffling, this week we are sponsored by Bugaboo and I chose to use Flower Garden. I really enjoyed colouring this image in and plan to do it in a different colour tone soon.
The papers are Craftwork Cards from the Kitsch Collection, the flower started life as a white one and was coloured to match my image.

Here is the sketch Sally created for us to follow this time around

I do hope that you can join in the fun with us,

Thank you for visiting and best wishes

Oodles of doodles at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2

Hello and welcome to my very late DT post for Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.

We were away last week and so operation catch up at work added to covering for a colleague has made for a tiring week.

Anyway this time around we are sponsored by Laurie at Doodle Pantry who luckily for me provides coloured as well as outline images so great when you need to make a card quickly but you still have the outline image for those times when only colouring will do.

I chose to use the Basil Plant image and here is my card

Here is the sketch

I am sure that you will agree that it is a great one and will work well twisted too.

I do hope that you can join us in our challenge this time around.

A simple sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2

Here I am with my fortnightly Design Team post for Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.

We are using Dearie Dolls images this time around, plenty to choose from and even better they are free!, what stereotypical Yorkshire person wouldn't love that.

So here is my card

I used a precoloured image, (you can get both versions in every image) so this was a super quick card to make, the papers are Nitwits Dress Shoppe, pears are from the Hobby House, coloured card is American Crafts and the blank is from Craftwork Cards.

Here is Sallys lovely sketch. I can see this being used for Christmas cards, watch this space.

Thank you for visiting and I do hope you can play along with us.

SSW2 SKETCH 91

Here I am with my Design Team post for our latest challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.

Here's the sketch that Sally has designed for us this time around

Another great sketch and so quick and easy to create with and here's what I made.

My image is from our brilliant sponsors Digistamp Boutique and is from the set Rosie Collection 1.

Papers and sentiments are from Craftwork Cards Celebrations collection.
Base card is Craftwork Cards and other card is from the craftroom shelves.

The ribbon was part of  a recent thank you gift from a work colleague who I helped out with his final project for college.

What's not to love about a few rolls of ribbon.
