Valentines

Here's a card I made this afternoon using a precoloured LOTV image and some Nitwit papers.
The embellishments are from a Project Life kit and the embossing folder is from Cuttlebug.

Allsorts  have a Valentines theme this week so I am entering my card there.

Thank you for visiting, it's kind of you to take the time.

Sweet Sketch Wednesday and a new sponsor

Well it's been a funny old week mainly dominated by the lurge and having to cook virtually everything in the freezer because the other person that lives here left the door open so very little time or energy to craft or blog the things I had made for challenges before the lurge struck.

Oh well onwards and upwards and it's time for the latest sketch over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 and Sally has done a great job again.

And we have a great new sponsor, Beccy's Place. Check out her images here I really struggled to choose one to use as I was spoilt for choice and finally settled for Old Pump.

Coloured it with Copics and paired it with papers from Craftwork Cards.

Thank you for visiting and for any comments you are kind enough to leave.

Mojo Monday 429

The new sketch from Mojo Monday popped into my inbox this week and I had an idea what I wanted to do with it so I decided to have a play along.

The sketch is above and this is my card

It is on a 5x7 base and everything else is from the Bohemian Dreams collection from Craftwork Cards except for  the Woodware punch I used for the leaves and the Embossalicious embossing folder. I thought it was a great sketch for a ready cut circle topper.

Thank you for visiting and for any comments you are kind enough to make.

SSW2 and a film star

Well it's the first Wednesday of 2016 so it's time for me to share my DT card for this fortnights sketch challenge over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2. Yes you did read that correctly, we are moving to a fortnightly challenge for 2016 so more time to create for all our friends and followers.

This fortnight we are sponsored by A Day For Daisies and I chose to use Silent Film A for my card.

I pondered for a little while over whether or not to colour the image but decided that I liked it as a line drawing and left it that way.

I have teamed it up with some Craftwork Cards papers from the Man Made collection, the sentiment is from that collection too and the ribbon is from one of the jars.

Thank you for visiting and  for any comments you are kind enough to leave.

I do hope that you will find the time to play along with us this fortnight.

Not so old owl

Here's a card I made for a December Birthday, the recipient thought that I was implying that he was old because the image was of a wise old owl. He (the friend) is obviously far too sensitive about his age.

Image is Jane Shasky form Joanna Sheen
Papers are Lili of the Valley
Sentiments, candi and base card are from Craftwork Cards.

Thank you for visiting

Happy New Year

Happy New Year to one and all, here's hoping 2016 is a good one for you and yours.

I always have lots of cards I make that never get blogged so thought it was time to start sharing some of them, not sure how long it will last but here goes

This is a card I made in September 2015.
The template and stamps came from Whichcraft as did the papers which I think are Maja.
The sparkly centres are from Hobby House and the sheep was bought from a shop selling work of local artists in Dubrovnik.

I am entering this in the Allsorts Challenge  as they have Anything but Christmas for their theme just now.

Thank you as always for visiting and I look forward to visiting you this year.
