Delicious Doodles at SSW2

Here is my card for our latest challenge over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 where our sponsor is Delicious Doodles a brand new sponsor to us.

Here is Kathies sketch

My card is a bit different for me in that there is quite a bit of brown, I don't usually do much brown but I had the Antiquities Project of the Month from the now sadly closed Craftwork Cards and thought that it would suit the sketch and Echinacea Flower image which I coloured with Distress Oxides. That was a first.

I do hope that you can play along with us this fortnight, this is such an easy sketch to follow.

Thank you for visiting and for any comments you are kind enough to leave

I am entering this card in the following challenges
QKR Stampede - Anything Goes

Pretty Flowers from Digistamp Boutique

Here is Kathies sketch for this fortnights challenge over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 where we are sponsored by the lovely Sally-Ann at Digistamp Boutique.

Here is my card using the image Pretty Flower Vase

I saw this image used by Lorraine at Mrs B's Blog a little while ago and knew that it would be perfect for this sketch. I have coloured it with Copics and everything else apart from the Doodlebug gems is from Craftwork Cards.

Thank you for visiting me and I do hope that you can join us at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 this fortnight.

Best wishes

Poppies and Princesses

Here is my DT card for our latest challenge over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2. I have used the image Princess with Poppy from our sponsors Little Blue Button which I have coloured with Copics. I would never of dreamt of choosing an image like this before I went on Copic Colouring classes with Faye Wynn-Jones, I have learnt so much and will now attempt folds and big hair.

Here is Kathies fabulous sketch

It's really straight-forward, I didn't have a die in this shape so just marked the centre of my rectangle and chopped as if I was making a tag.

I kept my card quite simple using some My Favourite Things paper from Dies to Die For and poppies which I bought from Lili of the Valley when they had their bricks and mortar shop. My card base is from Craftwork Cards who sadly ceased trading last month, I have used their products forever, the quality really was second to none and thankfully I have plenty of stocks to keep using but it was a sad day for me when I heard the news. We have had such happy times their creating over the years with the lovely Sue and all the team.

I do hope that you will pop over and play along with us, there are still a couple of days to enter.

Thank you for visiting and for any comments you may care to leave which always make me smile.

Best wishes

Anne
