A fold back pop up card

Welcome to my blog

I made this card shape following a tutorial from Sam Calcott from Mixed Up Craft. I have been enjoying her Facebook lives on my furlough days too

You can just about see the triangle pop out peeping out on this picture

and here's a view of the back

I used Bazzill card for the base
Papers are Nitwits Butterfly Kisses
Image is Hellebores from Lili of the Valley, it's available as a Simply Print
Verse on the reverse is a Honeydoo Crafts sentiment embossed in Wow Platinum
Pearls came from the Hobby House

I am entering my card at Allsorts Challenge blog, the theme is Anything Goes with an optional Roses and as Hellebores are also known as Christmas or Lenten Roses my card fits the twist too.

Sketch 213 with SSW2

Here I am with my second card for this months challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.

My neighbour asked me to make a new home card for her daughter who was moving out into her own place.

I teamed the sketch with a pre-coloured Lili of The Valley image that came from a sheet. This is one of my favourite new home images and I've almost run out of these so I may have to invest in the digital version.

The papers are Nitwits, from Up, Up & Away and Sunny Side Up and the ribbon is from my stash.

SSSW2 Sketch 212

It's official, I am a rubbish blogger but in my defence Blogger was changing my letters around and making up a new language which wouldn't have been possible for anyone to understand.

Anyway I am here now to dust the cobwebs off my blog - yet again - and start to share my cards for this months challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2

I am the sponsor this month and we have a cute bear stamp and some Lili of the Valley Artpad images as a prize as well as a guest DT spot so it's well worth an entry.

Here is my first card for this months challenge

I used a die which I have had for ages and never used - Happy Penguin by Tonic which I paper pieced with card from my scraps basket. The Oval dies are Polkadoodles.
The papers are from The Works and the ribbon and red mirror card is from my stash, I think the ribbon was free with a Making Cards magazine.

So definitely a card for using things I have had for a while and neglected.
Here is Kathies sketch which I followed

I am entering my card in the following challenges
Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge - Anything goes Christmas- optional use twine or ribbon
The 12 Months of Christmas  - Optional twist - Warm winter wear
