Do Al(l) Kreatives take 2

So my last post was about winning the challenge over at the Do-Al(l) Kreatives Challenge and being invited to be a guest designer. The theme is Back to School and as my card was not quite back to school I made another one and here it is.

I made the pencils just using kraft card and coloured card and a black pen.
The ruler stamp is from Kanban.
The letters are from a Dieversions die which I have had for a while.
I wish that I had embossed the panels behind the main image but it was made quickly as time was of the essence.

Thank you to the team at Do-Al(l) Kreatives for the chance to design for you.

Thank you for visiting.

Do-Al(l) Kreatives Guest Designer

I recently won a challenge over at the Do-Al(l) Kreatives Challenge and was invited to be a guest designer. The theme is Back to School so I made this easel card which was inspired by a tutorial from Mixed up Craft.

The flowers are from The Hobby House, Stamens were from Dreamees, Leaves are a Katie Skilton Craft Stash die and card and rub-ons are from my stash.

September at SSW2 Sketch 237

Here is my second design team card for Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 this month.

I used a stamp designed by Kay Carley and produced by The Stamp Man which used to be in Skipton.
I coloured it with watercolour paints and highlighted the dragonflies with stickles glitter glue.
The papers are Basic Grey Euphoria.
None of these are available now but it might remind you of them if you have them.

Here is Kathies sketch

I am entering these cards at

I used a topper from a set by Katie Sue Designs, edged with Saltwater Taffy Distress Oxide ink and mounted onto gold mirror card.

August at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2

Yes I know it's September and I am a very bad blogger but August was quite busy on both the personal and professional fronts. Anyway I thought I would sneak my Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 DT cards in before our next challenge starts on Wednesday.

We had 2 great sketches from Kathie and Doris aka Kleido was hosting and gave us a twist of lions.

For my first card I used elements from a Practical Publishing RSPB magazine box kit. My oval is probably a bit too elongated to be completely true to the sketch but I think it works.

Here's my card

and this is the sketch

For my second card this was the sketch

and I managed to follow the lion theme.
I used an image from a Woodware stamp from 2009 called Jungle Pals, the hello sentiment is from a Hero Arts set. U can't remember where the papers came from.

Thank you for visiting.
