Back from our travels

We have been away visiting family in Scotland for a few days, among other things while we were away we visited the Kelpies in Falkirk

It was a really interesting day out and we had a little laugh when we heard that all the parts were engineered and made in Yorkshire ready for assembly on site.

So having missed last weeks Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge I settled down to do this weeks this afternoon. Here is the sketch

and here is my card

The image and the papers are Lili of the Valley, I used Copics to colour the image.
Base card, Kraft card circle and sentiment from Craftwork Cards, I have embossed the circle with an embossing folder which I think came from Samuel Taylors and  then brushed over it with Stampin up craft ink in Whisper white. The little stars are Studio Calico.

Thank you for taking the time to visit and for any comments you are kind enough to leave

Oh Anne what a great photo of the Kelpies in Folkirk. This must be very new because the last time I was there in 2000 we didn't see it but could have missed it. They are amazing and I bet can be seen from miles. Amazing to think they were engineered at your door step LOL. I love your card and this cute image great colours and I love your embossing folders being inked I've done that before myself and really stands out. This is the perfect masculine card. Great card and thanks so much for sharing it with us over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 and good luck.
