Something old, something new.................

................. nothing borrowed, something blue but not a wedding card in sight.

These Wednesdays seem to be coming round very quickly just now but that means we have another fabulous sketch from Sally to share.

Here it is

and here is my card

This week we are sponsored  by A Day for Daisies and I chose the image Birthday Invitation.
I thought it looked quite vintage so paired it with these soft pastel Petal Fresh papers for Nitwits/LOTV.
The circle die is a marianne die bought in the sale at the Lili of the Valley shop last Saturday, they are moving premises and have closed the shop for now, shame it was quite handy for us, maybe a little too handy lol!
The daisy ribbon has been in the jar for ages and I coloured it with Copics and the  pearls were coloured to match.

Thank you for visiting and please take a trip over to the Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 blog and play along with us, it's a great sketch and you don't have to use a sponsors image to join in just follow the sketch, we all love to see what you create.

You're right...she does have a vintage look with that cute dress and hair do! Wow, you are lucky to have Lili of the Valley shop close by...sorry they are moving! It would be nice if they moved this direction!!! I haven't seen this die...it is so perfect for your card this week...matches the paper and flowers! Perfectly created! Love the scalloped edge too!
Have a great week!

Just so cute Anne, I do love your colours and yes you are right it does have a vintage feel to your card, and such a sweet image. I just adore this die you've used it looks like Tatting around the edge of a doily my mum use to Tatt, I so wish I learnt from her but I'm very left handed and found I was totally back to front :).
Take care and have a great week and enjoy your summer, it's getting warmer here now today was 17c.
Hugs

Yes it does look like a vintage image and love the die and your choice of colours, love the ribbon and the way you have used it on the right hand corner, a few tears were shed I suppose, lol.
