Celebrating 10 years

Hello and welcome to my post for Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.

This challenge will run for 4 weeks and we are celebrating 10 years of Sweet Sketch Wednesday in it's various guises. We are using the first sketch draw by Arlana and her sisters Judi and Nancy have created with us too.

Here is Arlanas sketch which I really enjoyed creating with

and here is my card using the image New Shoes from our sponsor A Day for Daisies

ADFD is closing at the end of this month and I know that the DT will miss creating with Tammys images.

I have coloured my image with Copics although I think that my folds need a bit more practice on this image.

Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2

We have another great sketch from Kathie over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 this fortnight and here is the card I made to follow it.

I have used elements and papers from an old Craftwork Cards Kit called More Than Words which I have layered onto black card. I hope that you like it.

Here is Kathies sketch

SSW2 and Bugaboo

Hi everyone, I am very neglectful of my blogging just now, my garden is calling me just now but here I am with my card for our latest sketch challenge over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.

Here is Kathies sketch

and here is my card

I've used a precoloured image from our sponsor Bugaboo, sentiments and papers are all from Lili of the Valley and the fairy cake embellishments came from one of the value shops.

SSW2 - Sketch 156

We've another fabulous sketch from Kathie launching over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 today and here it is.

and here is the card I created following it

Everything on my card is from The Hobby House except for the embossing folder which is a Crafters Companion one.

Thank you for visiting my blog and any comments which you are kind enough to leave.

SSW2 155 with Cute as a Button

It's been a while but here I am with my latest card for our challenge over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2. We are sponsored by Cute as a Button and I chose this image called Anne. I couldn't resist really especially as she reminds me of the Anne of Green Gables books which is quite appropriate as tomorrow is World Book Day.
I coloured her with my Zig Clean Colour pens - I think I overdid the eyebrows - and paper pieced her dress with now discontinued papers from Lili of the Valley but I have lots of their papers so they have to be used.

We had a lovely day at Stamperama in Harrogate on Saturday, it was quite busy but we managed to buy a few new stamps and dies between us and a couple of lovely papercraft kits. I really must blog more. It's been so long that I certainly have plenty of cards to share.

Thank you for dropping in to visit and for any comments you are kind enough to leave.

I will be entering my card in the following challenges

Flower Ladybug Love

There's a new Stella sketch today at Bugaboo and I decided to play along.

Here is the sketch

Here is my card

Although my card is a different shape I think you can still see it pretty well.

I have used one of my favourite Bugaboo images flowerladybuglove and coloured it with Copics.

My papers are some that I picked up in the bargain rack at Whichcraft a few months ago and thought they would be perfect with this image.

Thank you for visiting and for any comments you are kind enough to leave.

Delicious Doodles at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2

Here is my DT card for our latest challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 where we are sponsored by Delicious Doodles.. I used this lovely Hellebore image which I coloured with Polychromos pencils and matched with some My Minds Eye papers, American Crafts cardstock and some Stampin' Up ribbon.
