Back to botanical

Here's another card with the botanical set from Craftwork Cards. I used the cover sheet for the paper pack for the white squares which I edged with charcoal chalk ink. I quite like the 9 squares design, I think it makes a quick card with plenty of interest.

Quick 40th

Here's a quick and slightly wonky post of a 40th card which I rustled up this evening.

Papers are blossom spots and stripes from Craftwork cards, green card came from the same place years ago, the numbers were cut out from their template and the base card is a cream back to basics size six.

The sentiment is from a Woodware set inked with printworks ink.

Something simple

Here's a simple card which I made for my friends daughters 16th birthday a couple of weeks ago. The image is from a decoupage sheet which I've had for a while and think I picked it up at the craft shop in Pontefract the name of which escapes me. Papers came out of my box and the rhinestones are by Kaisercraft.

Basic Grey Challenge 38

This is my entry for the Basic Grey challenge blog, it's a sketch challenge and I've used Kioshi papers.
The main image is a Hero Arts cling stamp Blooming Meadow which I have stamped in Stone Grey Stazon and then coloured with Cloudy blue and lettuce Adirondack inks. I've used the stamp again on the lemon paper with second stamping of lettuce ink.
The flowers are by Mei Flower and the ribbon is from my collection. Card and sentiment are Craftwork Cards.
Thank you for looking.

PBSC week 139

Was supposed to be scrapping today but snow stopped play so I thought I'd have a go at this weeks Penny Black Saturday challenge.
The theme this week is cards for men so I rummaged through the Penny Black drawer and picked out my 'going ape' stamp and coloured it with Promarkers to match the manly papers which I had picked out. Punched out a branch from a Stampin Up punch and added Sizzix buttons and a Craftwork Cards message. Base card is also craftwork cards.

PBSC week 138

Well it's ages since I last entered the Penny Black Saturday challenge but thought that the Sugar and Spice papers from Craftwork Cards would be perfect for this week. I 've teamed them up with the Basket of Joy stamp which I have coloured in with pencils

Ribbon and ribbon charm are from my collection, pearls are from the Hobby House and the sentiment is by Woodware.

More of that Craftwork Cards confetti, this time with an elegant message and some platinum glitter glue added.
Hope you've enjoyed these as much as I enjoyed using the project kit

For Valentine

Here's a card I made for a colleague to send to his girlfriend.

The image is from a Penny Black set coloured with promarkers, papers are by craft creations and the ribbom is some I bought whilst on holiday in Fairford last year as I was getting a bit low (insert tongue in cheek).
Scallop square is a nestability and the hearts have been punched out using a small paper shapers primitive heart punch.
Sentiment is by Craftwork Cards as is all the cardstock on the card.
Thank you as always for looking and a happy Valentines day to all

....... and again

Heres the card I made and sent to my niece for her birthday earlier this month. It's another card made with the confetti collection, think we will probably have almost a full week of those as I have something different for tomorrow.
The flower is stamped in the Stampin up craft white ink onto the back of one of the patterned papers and comes from a Hero Arts set which I just had to have last year and this was the first time I had used it. It's been in and out of that drawer like I don't know what. I've gone around that papers with platinum glitter glue to add a bit of sparkle.

Back to the confetti

Here's another card made with the confetti range. I made this card a few nights ago, before the botanicals collection arrived and every bit of it apart from the chalk ink around the edge of the paper is from the project of the month kit.
I think getting these kits and the Julie Hickey inspiration up at Sam Taylors has kick started me a bit.
So thanks to her and thanks to you as always for looking and taking the time to comment.

Couldn't resist

I'm afraid that I couldn't resist the new Botanical collection from Craftwork Cards so I gave in on Wednesday lunchtime and ordered the Prject of the Month, and there it was in the post bag at work the morning after along with the complementing (is that a word) die cut flowers as a bit on the side.

I set to and made 4 cards last night, and here are two of them. I could have carried on if I am honest but the need to get up for work today stopped me.
I just added in some grosgrain ribbon from my collection to the card on the left but everything else is from Craftwork Cards.
