Sarah Kay meets Basic Grey 2

This was the mojo monday sketch last week but I was too late to enter it.

Papers are Basic Grey Lily Kate Collection from a 6x6 pad, one of my favourites, it has so many different colour options in it too.

Pearls are from the Hobby House, the very faint sentiment is from a Hero Arts set, punched edge is a stamping up punch, ribbon is from my collection.

Sarak Kay meets Basic Grey 1

Late last Saturday night I made up 6 Sarah Kay decoupage images and then spent most of Sunday, in between going out to buy benches and bathroon accessories, making them up following a few sketches that had been on various challenge blogs recently but which I hadn't entered.

I really enjoyed doing all of these because I love these images, hope you like them too.

Base card and scalloped oval - Craftwork Cards. Oval was embossed with a cuttlebug folder.

Paper is from the Perhaps collection and the flowers were cut out and embossed using spellbinders die Rose Creations.

Pearls are from Hobby House, inky edges are Wild Honey Distress ink and the ribbon is from my collection which is much more accessible in jars than it was on the pole.

Little Claire

The challenge over on the Little Claire blog is Pink and Green.

I bought the A Place in the Sun set at Harrogate last weekend and have used the bottom half of it for a new home card. The image has been stamped onto Craftwork Cards textured digital cardstock with memento ink and then coloured with Promarkers. I then matted it onto some green pearlescent card.

Decorative papers are from the First Edition Desert Blooms 6x6 stack, the bottom one has been overstamped in Adirondack lettuce with an Aspects of Design fancy flourish stamp. Flowers were punched from vellum and the bling is from the hobby house. Sentiment is made up from doodlebug rub ons.

I made the base card from a sheet of the Textured Digital cardstock as well.

Parlez vous francais?

It's Paulas birthday today. Here's a card I made for her a little while ago.
I've used Ooh la la papers and embellishments from Craftwork cards. I overstamped the paper with Hero Arts French writing using a printworks inkpad, then went over the edges of the paper and the squares with it.
The ribbon was also from craftwork cards and the ribbon slide is Mei Flower. Pearls are from Hobby House.
Sentiment is from a Paula Pascual set.
Thank you for looking or should that be merci beaucoup!

Sketch and stash no 47

Another challenge card this time for Sketch and Stash. This one is for someone I have worked with for 12 and a half years and she is retiring on Friday. She likes to garden so I chose this well loved Sarah Kay stamp for the main image and couloured it with Promarkers. The sentiment is from my new Woodware set.
The Prima flowers and ribbon are from my collection, the flower centresare from Hobby House and the brads are by papermania.
I bought the paper at the GNPE in March this year and this was the first time I had cut into it.
Base card is by Craftwork cards and the pink card is some bazzill.
Thank you as always for looking

Papertake weekly challenge

I picked up this stamp when I was over at the Hobby House a couple of weeks ago, I've liked it for a while so it was an easy choice. It is Daisy, a Sugar Nellie design by Elisabeth Bell and the size of it seemed to be made for this sketch.
I've stamped it in Black stazon onto some watercolour paper and decided to give my aquatones an airing to colour it in although I used a stampin up watercolour wonder for the skin tone.
Papers are Quite Contrary by My Minds Eye, all the other bits and bobs are from my collection and the base card is as ever by Craftwork Cards although this one is softies for a change.
