Best laid plans

I started making this card for a Basic Grey Challenge for Doilies and ribbon but coulldn't get the ribbon in as it looked too much, maybe I should have used poetic licence and counted the one in her hair. Then it could have been entered for last months challenge at Penny Black at allsorts but I never got round to entering it.

Anyway here it is and I hope that you like it

Base card is Craftwork Cards

Papers are basic grey from the sultry collection, doily is Susannah style from Dolly Cottage crafts, flowers and leaves have been punched from Basic Grey papers with a mixture of EK Success and Woodware punches and the centresare tiny papermania brads.

Stamp is Penny Black - Sweet Thing

Thanks so much for looking

After the famine....

It's been such an age since I posted for one reason or another which I won't go into here, but I do have lots of cards made and photographed so here is the first.

It's a pretty simple card for my husbands nephew who is 18 today.

The paper is by papermania and the cardstock and base card have all come from Craftwork Cards at some time. The 18 and the sentiment were cut out using my Cricut.

Thank yo as always for looking and for any comments

Another outing for the precious moments stamp

It was Paulines birthday on Tuesday and I inked up one of my favourite Sarah Kay stamps for her card. I've coloured it with promarkers to match the Crate papers and cardstock from Craftwork Cards. The base card is made from Bazzill.
The sentiments are Craftwork Cards and Hero Arts. Flowers are got flowers and the jewels are from Papermania.
I don't think I have used this colour combination before but I think it works.
Thank you as always for looking

Winter Wedding

We were at another wedding between Christmas and New Year, so glad the snow went as it was in Richmond so a bit of a journey down what with roadworks etc.
This uses the same stamps as on the last wedding card, Judikins curly wedding cake and a Woodware sentiment which were stamped in Brilliance starlite black, but this time I have combined it with Craftwork Cards Jack Frost papers and a panel of white pearlescent Bazzill card over stamped with a Hero Arts stamp Old French Writing in Brilliance Ink, I think I used starlight silver.
Images were coloured with Marvy pens, gems are papermania and organza ribbon is from my collection.
Thank you as always for looking and a very happy new year to you and yours.

Sketch and stash no 47

Another challenge card this time for Sketch and Stash. This one is for someone I have worked with for 12 and a half years and she is retiring on Friday. She likes to garden so I chose this well loved Sarah Kay stamp for the main image and couloured it with Promarkers. The sentiment is from my new Woodware set.
The Prima flowers and ribbon are from my collection, the flower centresare from Hobby House and the brads are by papermania.
I bought the paper at the GNPE in March this year and this was the first time I had cut into it.
Base card is by Craftwork cards and the pink card is some bazzill.
Thank you as always for looking

Card for the other half

Martin ended up with a very simple card this year. It is 9 squares of Papermania Hampton papers edged with brown ink mouted onto a Craftwork Cards back to basics size 6 card. Then I have stamped a Lili of the Valley image and coloured it with Promarkers to match. He likes this kind of colour scheme so was happy with the result. Sentiment is by Craftwork cards
